Stakeholders have convened for a comprehensive engagement on the Environmental & Social Impact Assessment / Resettlement Action Plan (ESIA/RAP) for the Kaduna BRT Project, reaffirming their collective commitment to advancing sustainable, inclusive, and efficient urban transport for all.
Following the engagement session, participants proceeded to the BRT corridor for an on-site field assessment, gaining first-hand insights into the project environment. The visit provided an opportunity to understand community dynamics better, identify potential environmental and social considerations, and address concerns directly from affected areas.
The exercise underscores a deliberate effort to ensure that the Kaduna BRT rollout is guided by inclusive planning, responsible environmental management, and stakeholder collaboration—laying a solid foundation for a sustainable urban mobility system in the state.

Planning Meeting between Kaduna State Transport Regulatory Agency & the AFD
Introductory meeting with Project Management and Operational Design (PMOD) Consultants with the Commissioner of Works and Public Infrastructure, Arc.(Dr.) Ibrahim Hamza, and members of the PMU, led by the Project Director, Engr. Zubairu Abubakar. The meeting was held at the Commissioner’s office.
